The procedure is performed with a tattooing pencil; the lines of the face or area to be treated are defined, and the pigment is applied.
Permanent makeup can save time, enhance features, and boost confidence. It is especially beneficial for people with busy lifestyles, vision impairments, or conditions that affect hair growth.
Common areas for PMU include eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. However, other areas such as scalp, areola, and beauty marks can also be tattooed.
The healing process typically takes 7-14 days, depending on the area tattooed and the individual's healing process. During this time, the tattooed area may scab, itch, and flake as it heals.
PMU will fade and can also be permanent. We use the term "permanent" because even though the intensity of the pigment fades over time, there will always be ink residue in the treated area. Ink has been implanted into the dermis and although it faces, there is no guarantee that it will ever completely disappear. Several factors contribute to fading - sun exposure, medications, skincare products, skin types, and the ability of your skin retaining the ink color.
